Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern a merchant's installation and use of ZR ProfileExtend, provided by Zeroradius Pvt. Ltd. ("Zeroradius," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms on behalf of itself and its business.

Service

ZR ProfileExtend lets merchants select customer metafields to display in Shopify Customer Accounts. Signed-in customers can view and update only the profile fields that the merchant has enabled. The app does not replace Shopify's own services or the merchant's responsibility for its store and customer records.

Merchant responsibilities

The merchant is responsible for:

• Using the app in compliance with applicable laws and Shopify's terms.
• Choosing appropriate profile fields and providing required notices to customers.
• Ensuring it has a lawful basis to collect and process customer information.
• Keeping its Shopify account and app access credentials secure.

Availability and changes

We may update, maintain, suspend, or discontinue the app when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service operation. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid material disruption, but the app is provided on an as-available basis.

Termination and deletion

A merchant may stop using the app by uninstalling it. When the app is uninstalled, we delete Shopify authentication-session data associated with the shop. Customer metafield values remain in Shopify unless the merchant changes or deletes them there. We may suspend or end access if use violates these terms, Shopify requirements, or applicable law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Neither party excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Zeroradius is not responsible for a merchant's Shopify settings, customer content, or actions taken by the merchant or its customers.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms when the app or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means the merchant accepts the revised terms.

Data Processing Addendum

This Data Processing Addendum forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies when Zeroradius processes personal data on a merchant's behalf through the app. The merchant is the controller or equivalent business, and Zeroradius is the processor or equivalent service provider.

Processing details

• Subject matter: customer-profile field configuration and enabled customer metafield updates.
• Duration: while the merchant uses the app, plus the limited period needed to delete session records after uninstallation or a valid deletion request.
• Purpose: operating, securing, and supporting the app for the merchant.
• Data categories: merchant/shop details, enabled field configuration, and customer metafield values selected by the merchant.
• Data subjects: merchant users and customers whose accounts include enabled profile fields.

Processor commitments

Zeroradius will:

• Process personal data only to provide and secure the app, follow the merchant's documented instructions, and comply with applicable law.
• Limit access to personnel and service providers who need it for these purposes and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the app's processing, including HTTPS for data in transit and restricted system access.
• Promptly notify the merchant when legally permitted if we receive a request relating to the merchant's customer data, and provide reasonable assistance with valid requests.
• Delete Shopify authentication-session data after uninstall or Shopify shop-redaction events, subject to legal retention obligations.

Service providers

The merchant authorizes Zeroradius to use Shopify to operate app integration and Vercel to host the app server. Hostinger is used only for MySQL session storage. Zeroradius remains responsible for requiring appropriate data-protection commitments from its service providers where applicable.
