This Privacy Policy explains how Zeroradius Pvt. Ltd. ("Zeroradius," "we," "us," or "our") processes personal information through ZR ProfileExtend, a Shopify app that merchants can install for their Shopify stores.

What the app does

ZR ProfileExtend lets a merchant choose customer metafields to show in Shopify Customer Accounts. Signed-in customers can view and update only the fields that the merchant has enabled.

Information we process

To provide this functionality, the app processes:

• Merchant and shop information required for Shopify app installation, authentication, and app operation.
• The merchant's selected profile-field configuration.
• Customer metafield values only when a signed-in customer views or updates an enabled field.
• Technical information needed to secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the app, such as server logs and request metadata.

How we use information

We use this information only to authenticate the app, display merchant-enabled customer profile fields, and save a customer's requested updates. We do not sell customer information, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Legal basis and merchant control

Merchants decide which customer profile fields to enable and are responsible for providing any required notices and obtaining any required permissions from their customers. Where applicable, we process customer information as a service provider or processor acting on the merchant's instructions.

Storage and retention

Customer metafield values are stored in Shopify and are not retained in a separate ZR ProfileExtend database. The app stores Shopify authentication sessions only while they are needed to operate the installed app. Those session records are deleted after the app is uninstalled or when Shopify sends a valid shop-redaction request, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed to provide the app's functionality, comply with legal obligations, and operate the service. Shopify provides the platform and customer-account services used by the app. Vercel hosts the app server, and Hostinger is used for MySQL session storage. We do not sell personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by the app. The app uses HTTPS to protect information in transit and restricts access to app systems to what is necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the service.

International processing

Information may be processed in countries where Shopify, Zeroradius, and our service providers operate. When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Choices and requests

Customers can ask the merchant they interact with to exercise applicable privacy rights. Shopify may also send data-access and deletion requests to the app through its compliance process. We respond to those requests as required by applicable law.

Children's information

ZR ProfileExtend is a business app for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children. The app processes customer profile fields only as selected and controlled by the merchant.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The current version will always be available at this address.
